Narrative
The tombstone at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery (New Holland, PA) for "Frank Ressler" states his birth and death dates were Sept. 28, 1878 and July 7, 1943 (from my own photos and findagrave.com). However, the death certificate clearly states 1879-09-28 to 1943-07-07, as does my Uncle Martin's genealogy.

Born in Sporting Hill, Mount Joy, Lancaster Co, Pennsylvania, USA on 28 Sep 1878 to Isaac S Ressler and Magdalena "Martha" Sechrist. Isaac Franklin Ressler married Ella Margaret SPOTTS and had 6 children. He passed away on 7 Jul 1943 in St. Joseph's Hospital, Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA.
However, I think the label of his father as "Isaac S Ressler" is wrong, since all our family records label the father as Isaac Franklin Ressler as well. There is also no record that his father moved to Bluffton, IL, where Isaac S Ressler died. See the much longer note at Isaac Franklin Ressler, Sr.
