Thomas Hill, Apple Valley

Thomas B. Hill, Jr., 58, a 15-year resident of Apple Valley, died Monday in a San Diego hospital. He was a native of Williamson, W.Va. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force where he had attained the rank of master sergeant. Most recently he was a salesman for Apple Valley Ranchos Real Estate. Survivors include his wife, Beulah A.; a daughter, Peggy M. Smith of Richmond, Va.; a sister, Minnie Mitchell of Crewe, Va.; two brothers, James E. of Burkeville, Va. and Richard L. of Richmond, and a grandson. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday in the Church of the Valley, Apple Valley. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today in the Dudley Mortuary in Victorville. Burial will be in Victor Valley Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
